I have always loved Polar cakes and pastries but I especially love the service provided by Ms Esther. She is extremely efficient, friendly and always serves with a smile. She never fails to greet my friend and I whenever she sees us regardless of whether we buy from her or not. I notice that she treats all her customers the same…always friendly, courteous and helpful. This is definitely genuine service!

What happened to the nice curry puff myself and my family used to enjoy? Now, the curry puff has hardly any ingredients unlike those we had in the past. It is almost all pastry now with little ingredients.
Does Polar have to resort to this pathetic state that will put customers off? It will certainly be a challenge to retain your loyal customers.
Do something about it before it is too late!

Don't buy their curry chicken puffs. 90% pastry and 1% chicken. Used to eat them nearly weekly and the last time a couple of years ago. I was a regular when they first started at High Street. Also complained a couple of years ago and hoped today will be better. But sadly it's gotten worse. Will strike them off for good.

Used to occasionally buy the sugar roll in the past even when the slice is thinner, always soft and airy. But today when I bought it, it tasted like it had been kept 2 days , the cake is dense … even though the sugar appeared to have been coated today. Disappointed…

Decent place selling the same ol’ classic Polar fare — highlights include their Swiss roll, chicken pie, etc.
Tried the Otah one and it’s pretty good!
Level of service is really nothing to rave about. Sometimes they’re friendly, sometimes not so much.

Pastry is flaky, rich and buttery
Can improve the filling? no chicken chunks found 😂

"Oi, let me tell ya 'bout Polar Puffs and Bakes in Singapore, lah! They've got some real tasty treats, you know. From curry puffs to kaya buns, they got all our local favorites. And the best part, it's not too expensive, bro. Plus, the service, no need to worry, they're pretty friendly. So if you're looking for some good ol' Singaporean snacks, Polar Puffs and Bakes is where you should go, confirm shiok!"

Please retrain both Chinese staff on how to handle valuable customers with more politeness.
Female staff: Used a poor tone when taking my order.
Male staff: Misheard my phone number, assumed I provided it incorrectly, and did not apologize and no thank me after my payment and handed over my order poorly.

Bad counter staff services. Not focus n accuse me of calling wrong order. When I insist, try not to give me offer price of $7.2 for 4 sugar roll until I confronted him. Bad.. trying to bully old man. When I ask to place all 4 in a box, simply squeeze in box for 3.
This spoil your product visibility.. sad for you to have such a staff. This is not my first encounter with him, thought the first time was my mistake. But realized he is not not focused on customers needs..

This used to be almost a regular , cause their puffs were decently priced but tasted fine.... until maybe a couple of days ago , we were leaving Fairprice and I chanced upon full trays of various kinds of puffs , it was already the closing time and I was already wondering what they'd do to the huge leftovers only to discover they sold it the next day ... I can assured tell you cause I fell a prey , not one three of the puffs we got were spolit ! We get back to them and they agreed to offer a refund but sternly stare as though it was my mistake! I have heard about their poor service but never experienced it myself , but now I get it !
