Went over today to get my glasses replaced due to broken nose pads. I asked the staff for a replacement with the frames (same model) only and using back the same lenses. She went to check my details. And I enquired about replacement cost, she informed that the frame + lenses was 188 and just replacement of the frame would only be 30 cheaper.
I was about to agree to replace the whole frame + lenses for the cost. Then I peeked her screen and saw I did my specs last OCT. And asked about the warranty. Which she did. Not mentioned. it felt like she was urging me to get a new set of the same glasses instead of using the warranty which was still valid.
Managed to claimed my warranty only afterwards.
Staff should be more upfront and try to be sly in selling specs. when warranty is still available. If I didn’t ask her, I would have wasted 188$ .
Didn’t get her name but it was a really short haired female Chinese staff.

I had an unpleasant experience during my visit to the OWNDAYS NEX outlet. I came in simply to request a tightening and adjustment for my spectacles. After the staff made some adjustments, she approached me and said, quite abruptly, “YOU TRY” in an unfriendly tone. I was taken aback and repeated, “You try?” — only then did I notice a slight change in her tone.
When I asked her whether she had adjusted the spectacle arms (sticks), she responded with an unfriendly attitude: “You can go over there, my colleague do for you.”
This is my first time visiting this OWNDAYS branch, and unfortunately, it left a very negative impression. A little politeness and clearer communication would have made a big difference in customer experience.
