Came in for a dip acrylic colour removal, which, according to customer service would be $15 (excl GST). Then, upon being seated, I was informed by customer service that it would actually cost $45 (excl GST). Do note that Nail Palace's MD was jailed in May due to unfair business practices at Nail Palace and contempt of court. There is no evidence to date of corrected business practices as Nail Palace. The nail techs failed to conduct customer service conversation in English ever since intake, leading to a misunderstanding of services needed (e.g. they thought I had tips when, in fact, I do not; I had dip acrylic polish on my natural nails), and filing down my natural nails until the nail bed experienced an acute burning sensation on 6 out of my 10 fingers. During the service, a second nail tech joined my first one to get started on my second hand—which I appreciated, since it would get the painful experience over with sooner—and they discussed in front of the customer what material my nail colour must have been (which I had already disclosed at intake was dip polish). The first nail tech also explained to the second that she had to file away the smooth part "slowly" on my nails, and I appreciate the real-time education in customer care, so I'm giving an additional star. The second nail tech used her own nail to scrape and flick off specks of my nail as she filed it down with the drum. She also failed to spritz my fingers with cleaning alcohol spray before applying cuticle oil (which the first nail tech appropriately did)—demonstrating unreliable hygiene practices at this establishment. Next time, I'm going to Level 4 for Nail Air, where I got a similar removal service with much better quality of experience for $25.

Super happy to have done my nails here with Mei and Ivy. They were so warm and inviting and paid such care to my nails. There’s no hard selling at all and I really loved the attention to detail they have given even though I did a very simple express gel manicure. 🩵🩵 …

Ivy is incredibly attentive and always does an amazing job on my nails. Her skills are top-notch—my nails look flawless and last all the way until my next session. I truly appreciate her professionalism and consistency!

Made a last minute booking this morning and was squeezed in a slot at 330pm. Upon arriving, the team were all so warm and inviting and made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. Really appreciated Dora, Jaq and Poh Yi. They worked so efficiently together and made me feel so comfortable. They worked with a lot of care and could tell they really enjoyed what they do. They’re all so hospitable. They did such a wonderful job with my mani and pedi and I can’t wait to come back again.
