My 3rd time getting my hair cut here, got a package many years ago but I only cut my hair once every 2 years.
I was served by Ian, and he did a fantastic job! I showed him a 4 second video of a hush cut and he did it perfectly. He even taught me how to style my hair at home to replicate the salon results. Request for him the next time you come to cut your hair! <3

Have not gone to any other salon since meeting Angeline. Besides the constant satisfactory haircuts she provides, her expertise in scalp/hair fall issues are top tier. Had postpartum hair fall issues and then scalp issues. Angeline gave clear guidance on steps to take and very realistic strategies, pairing with the daily use of hair products from Mystique. I have seen great improvement in my hair quality over the past 1 year. Thank you Angeline!

Second visit to Mystique Hub today, despite having walked past it for years at NEX. I had always felt intimidated by the stylists at the door counter with trendy hairstyles and outfits, emitting veteran presence and star-stylist quality.
I finally visited on Boxing Day 2024, around 8pm, when my usual barber was closed. Turned out to be a blessing in disguise as I ended up with one of the best haircuts I’ve had in recent years. I used to have my hair cut at bigger-name Korean salons, only to leave looking like that beta villain in K-dramas who nobly sacrifices himself in the finale, no matter how specific my instructions were. Over here, my requests were followed to a T.
Both times, I was attended to by the same female stylist with short hair (never caught her name, but she is easily recognisable with her cool vibe). She is direct, efficient, doesn’t make small talk, and just gets the job done. I really appreciated not having to engage in the usual awkward conversations at other saloons about the weather, salary, or where I live, which inevitably leads to the dreaded pitch for some haircut package. Instead, I got to enjoy the background music of 2010s EDM remixed into acoustic covers. The whole cut, including wash took about 30 minutes, which is just about my tolerance for haircuts.
I have seen reviews saying the end result here looks similar to cuts from cheaper salons and I agree, but I will add that even those $200 haircuts by “Korean directors from Korea” tend to look the same right after the cut. The true test of a haircut is how it holds up a week or even a month later.
My previous haircut here still looked great at the five-week mark, until I started looking like a surfer dude without having the necessary figure during CNY, and had to do a quick shave at a Malay barber to avoid the crazy surcharge everywhere else.
If I had to nitpick, it is the haircut cape. It has a non-porous, plasticky middle so you can use your phone while getting a hair cut, which is thoughtful, but it gets really warm. Maybe can consider lowering the AC a little?
Lastly, no pressure to buy packages. They will ask at payment as a courtesy, but no hard-selling while you are stuck mid-cut with your hair held ransom. Also, no random offers for “better scalp shampoo” or add-ons such as hair treatment.
Strongly recommend for a fuss-free, sharp-looking haircut.

I got a hair treatment done with them, and it kept my hair looking great for several months. The hairstylist was incredibly patient, taking the time to understand my needs and ensuring everything was done with care. I really appreciated their attention to detail and professionalism!

Angeline is my to go hair stylist. She is able to cut and style my hair which no one else can. I have thin and very frizzy/damage hair which many hair stylist do not dare to do much about it except treatments and treatments.
The rest of the Mystique Hub team are also very helpful and friendly. They make me feel like home whenever I step in.
Will definitely come back again!
