Bought 3 mini buns (2 sweet potato and 1 red bean), because i really love sweet potato. Bite into 1 of it and im confused when it doesnt even taste like sweet potato and has black filling, and it tasted more like black sesame...

Service staff at nex outlet should improve on the service. I was apologetic when my card didn't work and asked to try again with another card and i even said "sorry". The service staff glared at me and showed attitude. Infront of me was an auntie who bought 1 small item and the service staff didn't give her a plastic bag. When the auntie asked for plastic bag, the service staff looked unhappy and gave an attitude too. I likely won't patronise again.

I used to enjoy buying dessert Tau Suan from this stall—it was one of my go-to treats whenever I visited the mall. Usually, there’s a queue, which I take as a sign of quality and popularity. Today, seeing the queue was shorter than usual, I thought it might be the perfect time to grab a bowl of my favorite dessert. Unfortunately, that hope was quickly dashed. After queuing patiently, I was told at the counter that Tau Suan had sold out. No notice, no sign—nothing to inform waiting customers. So essentially, I queued for nothing. This is a basic customer service oversight. If the item is no longer available, putting up a simple sign would have saved everyone’s time and spared the frustration. It’s common sense, especially for a stall that sees regular crowds. Taking care of customers’ experience should be a priority, not an afterthought. Needless to say, I’ll be exploring other dessert options in the mall from now on. The takeaway? If you take care of your customers, your customers will take care of you. And the reverse is just as true.

Very disappointing snack store. The You Tiao was cold and slightly tough to bite, signifying that it has been on the shelf for quite some duration. Make sure to ask for a freshly fried one if you do want to purchase it. The curry puff was quite disappointing too. While the crust was well seasoned and made, the fillings were subpar to other curry puffs sold in Singapore. The oil used to deep fry the snacks also look stale. At least the price of the food is reasonable for a quick bite.

I ordered one piece of carrot cake and three pieces of samosa. The total price was $2.90; I paid with fave. The carrot cake was rather plain and I felt that it could've been tastier. The samosa, on the other hand, was pretty good. I would go back for more. I went there on a Saturday morning and there were around six people in the queue. That's already considered a short queue for dough culture, because the queue is usually super long at other times of the day (e.g. more than 11 people). Nearest MRT: Serangoon. It's really close to the circle line exit.

My go to place when I crave tau Suan. But today’s tau suan is just disappointing. Dough sticks that came with the tau Suan is stale…very disappointing

Tried fritter and carrot cake and I thot they were trying to make them taste unique from others, but they actually tasted horrible. Only goreng pisang was OK!

standard of food overall changed as in portion much reduced. starch base was more than the mung bean itself
