For $6 I got their specialty braised duck rice. Taste decent, rice is cooked nicely. Portion of rice to duck is more towards the rice. Nothing special good enough for just a meal.

If herbal stewed duck is your thing you cant go wrong with Yu Kee. From the sauce to the soup its all pretty consistent, duck meat is average, noodles are alright and flooded in that aromatic gravy but the real star here is their sambal, dont bother with the other two chilli sauces, just douse everything in the sambal and it makes a 2 star dish into a 3 star one. Same goes for the char siew thats unfortunately absorbed all that sauce and its caramelised bits became soggy as well. If need be just stick to the duck.

Bought duck rice takeaway on 2 Feb The rice is not cooked through which is very irritating having to eat rice that have hard crunchy centres…. Uncooked rice has bacteria risk and not good for our gut. I wish that whoever cooked the rice should eat a big spoon of it to test the doneness but not just use eyes to check or pinch one rice for doneness

Duck still got feather on it. Pork intestine tasted funny. Not cleaned properly? Overall very disgusting experience. Have to throw away the entire takeaway before getting food poisoning. The two grown men serving customers one packing and one chopping are constantly chatting about their prison life experiences in front of customers.

Food portion for Signature Duck Rice is small. Only 1 silver of salted vegetable. Seems to be a consistent issue based on other reviews. Cannot recommend.

I had the worst Braised Pork Trotter in my life. The trotter is not well cooked. Extremely chewy. Meat is not tender and bad tasted. It is also full of bones and fats. Almost no lean meat basically. Totally not worth it. The soup is over salty . Not bearable to finish eating . Very disappointed from a local brand I know for decades. I think they should just focus on their duck specialties.

Had diarrhea and fever after dining in here last Friday 21/2. I’m not sure if the duck rice was the culprit but after seeing other reviews here, I now know it’s not an isolated issue. No issues dining in here previously but the standard and quality of the service/staff has been steadily dropping ever since it opened.

This place is a scam. My wife bought 2 yew kee sets (1 with intestine) but they only gave her 1 set of meat with 2 rice. She even asked them if confirmed 2 sets when they gave her 3 packets and they said yes. I demand a refund of our $8.50!!

Recently opened branch. Tried both the signature yu kee duck set and kua chup set. The flavours were overly sweet and not tasty at all. Service was slow as well. Will not be back again.

I've been staying in Serangoon for a while now and just happen to know there's a YK duck rice stall within NEX. The moment I know about it through Map, my instinct tells me "CHIONG AH"!!! Verdict : Definitely didn't disappoint! Food: YK duck rice and kway chap, I tell you, guarantee GOOD! Service: Serving staff are very friendly, so much better than the staff compared to Bukit Panjang interchange side, who act like hooligans. You can pay with credit card and pay wave too. And the best of all, they provide free tissues. 小小举止，大大客服 👍 Atmosphere : Nothing to shout, quite small inside. Limited seatings, but can wait for a while as customers are generally eat and go. Try try try, die die must try. Highly recommended.

Food was good and value for money for the price paid. Added $1 for braised tofu and got a huge serving! Kway chap noodles was very soft and tasty. Only gripe was the tight and squeeze seating for eating in.
