Last Sunday, we went to Saizeriya at NEX. It was very crowded during dinner time. When it was our turn, we ordered our dinner, including a plate of green mussels.
That night after returning home, I felt very bloated, but I didn’t think much of it. However, the next day, both my husband and I started feeling unwell at the same time and developed a fever.
We saw a doctor, and he mentioned it was likely due to consuming seafood that wasn’t fresh. We recalled that the only seafood I ate was the green mussels.
My husband had both vomiting and diarrhea, while I was vomiting and had severe bloating with a lot of wind rashes (hives). The doctor said these were all symptoms of food poisoning.
We were sick for several days and are still having a fever. It has been really tough. I don’t think I’ll ever eat there again.

It's not the best of place to have your meals, but if you want value for money meals, I guess you can visit this restaurant.
Service speeds vary as there was once I had it fast, while another experience was slow.
Plain water was free, and the food was only average tasting. I didn't really like the grilled salmon as it was rather hard, and most of it came stuck to the plate. The lava cake was probably what I normally go for.

After waited for 25 mins, the pizza was cold and as can be seen fm the photo, the crust is mostly white and only very slightly baked.. it was as if i ate flour pizza. Used to be good. Very disappointed.

We like and always go to Saizeriya for western food.
Just to feedback that we had a terrible food poisoning experience after consume 4 piece of mussels from Saizeriya. As can be seen from the photo, the mussels seems like not cooked and tasted abit cold. Guess this will be our last time for Saizeriya.

Quite possibly one of the worst Saizeriya I've eaten at. Service was extremely slow. Took nearly 40mins to receive my bowl of Bolognese. Which tasted of nothing, the sauce was watered down and was oily. Barely any meat. Server spilt pasta on the table next to mine. Splashed all the way across and onto my shirt, leg, hands and neck.

chicken was undercooked the first time so we asked the waitress if they could cook it a bit longer or send a new one. came back with a freshly cooked plate with the same results. chicken not cooked and couldn’t eat it cause it was red. would not recommend eating the chicken there. left hungry but paid the full price.

Garlic Focaccia Bread is still the must-have when you’re here though.
Service is nice, but the decor of this place looks quite old and worn out.

04.07.2025 Friday 1140am early lunch with mom. I had the creamy garlic chicken baked rice $9.00 lunch set meal with free flow drink and salad. Tastes alright with actually a thin layer of rice given. I didn't taste any garlic though. The pasta was okay for $5.90. Garlic focaccia lacked garlic $2.30. Oreo cheesecake $3.90 tastes nice.
Everything total to $23.40 including GST $1.93. Servers are not very welcoming & friendly, but maybe because they are busy due to more lunch crowds coming in.

My question is how does this place charge so little for so much? And to top it off, it's a full service restaurant, your meals are served by the friendly staff with the exception of drinks which are self-service. I ordered a corn soup ($2.90), sautéed brocoli ($2.90), escargots ($5.90) and the hamburg and sausage set ($7.90) for a grand total of only $19.60. I have had single nasi lemak which i have to self serve in a plastic box that cost more than my entire meal here. Now you might ask sure it's cheap but the food must be bad right? Actually it tasted mighty damn good. Corn soup was on point and had a good serving of kernels inside too, the brocoli was so tasty thanks to the heaps of garlic within, the escargot too was as good as those I had at places that cost three times as much. The hamburg and sausage was good too, you have to tell yourself at this price any semblance of quality and quantity is a major W and Saizeriya had both in spades. Mind blown! Now I know why it's perpetually packed all the time.

Always find Saizeriya value for money. Expectation of the quality and service has to be lowered as food is of reasonable value and quality and as for service, staff is doing the best they can and seriously, find that it’s already a reasonable amount of service given that there’s no service charged for the dine in. It’s literally like fast food Western food. And a fast food restaurant that serves wine! I wouldn’t rave for superb food, but the value for money. Been there countless times, but decided to give this review when I went for a little snack, drink and dessert for a little treat! Realized that instead of having main meals, this place serves affordable wine, snacks and dessert. An affordable budget place to hang around for a while. I’m giving an all across 4-star as it’s a no frills place as it is and not that it is short of anything.

Underrated place, very good service and atmosphere. Food is prepared fast and very good. Meals are value for money and reasonable price.
I got bacon and Mushroom risotto, it's very cheesy and creamy and filling, so I suggest you share a plate with someone else.
The rice is also tasty.
I also got cream asparagus with bacon. The cream is good and asparagus is very crunchy and moist.
There is also a generous serving of bacon in each dish and the portion size of each dish is very good.
I also had garlic focaccia with Mushroom and corn soup.
The Mushroom soup is amazing but the corn soup is OK only.
The focaccia was very good.
