Poor service and rude staff. Refuse to accept cash voucher for purchase. Ask us to contact their manager ourself. After clarify with manager, showed them manager said can. But she said supervisor on leave, so no instruction from supervisor. Ask us not to wait there, go other outlet or come back other day. Not the 1st time experience from these 2 foreign lady staff. OMG what service, rejecting business.

Ordered the SG60 fish fillets bento and chicken gyoza bento, chicken karaage bento was sold out. The fish fillets were small and not crispy. Gyoza was hardly warm, a common issue with bulk cooking. The sides were decent. Probably can get hotter food at the food court at the same price.

Laat time I have used the Umi Sushi Cash Voucher to buy the party platter from Nex outlet. However, recently when I wanted to use the voucher to buy the platter, the staff mentioned that they have changed boss and now they do not accept the vouchers to buy the platter. Can I ask since when did Umi change boss and when did the rule change? If it really changed, why did they not inform the customers about it or state in the terms and conditions? If it has not changed, then why is the company not training the staff properly? The staff (both Female) also asked us to contact their manager by pointing to the hiring poster but is actually the hiring manager and he has kindly told us that he will contact the supervisor about this. However, when we went back down the staff mentioned that their supervisor not here, and we wanted to sit down to consider to buy or not, they told us "sit down also no use, supervisor also not here" and asked us to go to another outlet or come back when the supervisor is here. This has happened a few times and I am reporting now as the situation has not changed. Please do not apologize for the sake of apologizing but take action and train your staff properly before allowing them to start working.

I bought takeaway sushi. As my expectation may not be usual, i cannot attest if this is normal. I came home to see zero packets of soy sauce or wasabi. I thought the bare minimal would be to provide some, and i would buy more if desired. Hence i did not check when i left the counter, only to go home to find none. Needless to say this was one lousy meal.
