Its convenient location inside the shopping mall makes it an easy stop whenever we're in the vicinity.
The kopi is full-bodied, and their kaya peanut toast is a must-try!

Beverages are good. The cakes, however, cannot make it. Too dry and bland! Even the neighbourhood bakery cakes taste way better.

Very angry over this outlet at Nex. Bought a curry chicken set with add extra chicken wings. But, went home and saw only 2pcs of that chicken wings. This is too much. It’s boycott!! Want to call their outlet, number cannot be reach. What is this. I want a compensate!! And the worse is the chicken had a smell too. Had no choice got to eat it as paid. Very disappointed please look into this matter seriously for the boss that in charge this outlet, are you waking up?

Pathetic butter & peanut butter servings on bread and cleanliness is a perennial issue across outlets observed. Sticky stained tables and slow clearance of tables. Wet wipes is a must. I only visit when Yakun is too crowded.

So.. in the past, I did mention that the service from counter staff at this outlet is very good. Unfortunately, today, I was left with an extremely bad experience. I applaud male Indian staff’s ability to be able to speak mandarin fluently. But, whilst taking my order, he made me feel that I am stupid and not able to place my order the way that HE wants it. Honestly, Chinese male staff present did brilliantly in the past when taking my order. To me, it does not matter what race the staff member is from. But service rendered today is not good. And I was being nice in the first place…

Food is quite decent. The laksa comes with a lot of toppings and ingredients are quite fresh. Only bad thing about the laksa is that it inly comes in bee tai mak. Would like it more if they can do thick bee hoon. Spiciness is just nice. The roll cake was a bit disappointing… tastes a little stale and too sweet. It looks chewy and fluffy thats why i bought it :(
Low rating on the atmosphere because the aircon broke down or smth it was very very warm and stuffy. The moment we stepped outside toast box it was instant relief.

In terms of chain outlet, I would prefer toast box
In Nex outlet which I frequent, it’s true that place can be warm in the morning when it’s crowded
There is always a queue even on weekdays but somehow you can find a seat after your order.
Toast set at $6.2 which is more than what you pay in coffeeshop is decent
