Since reopening with a refreshed interior and exclusive menu offerings, this establishment continues the legacy that began in a humble Chinatown shophouse in 1991. Located at NEX's second level, the restaurant celebrates traditional Chinese cooking through their signature double-boiled herbal soups and time-honored dishes that reflect Singapore's rich cultural heritage.

Services are good and prompt but the food just doesn’t seem as good as in the past (or was I expecting too much?). The sweet potato leaves are tender but the sambal chilli doesn’t pack a punch. The signature steamed chilli is bland if not for the accompanying sauce. The most disappointing is their spare rib - it just tastes sweet and nothing else and this is a dish that most cheaper zichars do well and why not soup restaurant?

Visited the restaurant for dinner at Nex. It was quite crowded so it is advisable to make a reservation. It was nice that we were allocated to a private dining area with good air conditioning. I think they just renovated the area so the interior looks more modern. We were served by Catherine and Alvin, who are very nice and professional. Their service is great and the meal was enjoyable. The food was served quickly after ordering. The food tastes great as well! Definitely worth a try! Overall, a great dining experience!

I just love nutrient dense quality soup …
brought sister Romi to Soup Restaurant to taste their signature soups… we ordered collagen fish maw soup and coconut black chicken soup boiled to perfection. Their other signature dish of steamed Samsui chicken wrapped in lettuce and ginger grated sauce is a must, healthy steamed handmade tofu and sweet potato leaves as side dish. We topped it off with refreshing desserts of red tea aloe jelly and warm white fungus with red date and gingko nuts.
Definitely one of my favourite eating places.

much sweetness, just nice.
To top it off… we were given a bonus promotion. Great company, great food, great service.

The soup options are also very comforting, perfect for a rainy day or when you’re craving something nourishing.
Service was prompt and friendly, and the staff were attentive even during busy periods. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. The restaurant can get quite packed during peak hours, so I recommend making a reservation or going slightly earlier.
