Env: The restaurant was very hot and humid. Probably due to the mall just opened an hour ago.
Service: The tall big sized waiter seemed unwilling to talk order from the menu and his behavior showed.
Food: Ate the beef set lunch ($11.90++), but couldnt finish eating them as they tasted awful. 3 big chunks of beef spare parts, 2 slices of shabu shabu beef, 2 beef balls - all didn't taste fresh. Addon dessert - small spring rolls with not much ingredients and thick skin, deepfried roll in overused oil, lemongrass like drinking syrup. The whole set meal was not authentic at all.

Terrible service at So Pho — never coming back.
The service at So Pho was absolutely awful, especially from the man who seemed to be the manager — tall, strong build, wearing black. I asked about a misleading set meal photo on their phone menu (the price didn’t match), and instead of helping, he snapped, “You can choose not to add it.”
When I pointed out the photo could mislead customers, he got aggressive, raised his voice, followed me back to my seat, and shouted again. He even took the menu off our table, clearly trying to kick us out.
I stayed polite the whole time, but the manager’s attitude was rude, arrogant, and completely unprofessional. Extremely unpleasant experience. Never coming back.

Ordered vegetarian option and the rice was so bland and not tasty at all. When asked they said they don't add garlic or onion and egg too. I understand the egg but why not ask on the option to exclude onion and garlic as only a very small portion of vegetarians don't eat that.

I ordered a soft-shell crab spring roll and curry chicken with bread. The spring roll tasted good with the sweet chili sauce served alongside. The curry chicken was served with a stew, and I loved the baguette bread because its crust was crispy while the inside was soft. The service here is great, as they check the order without me having to mention it while the food is being prepared.

Very quick service. Good deal for two people, one starter, two mains and drinks for around 40 dollars after gst and service. Food was fresh and tasty, the sauce was a bit too spicy for us but that's personal taste.

Service was very prompt and food served quickly after placing the order. The fresh spring rolls with prawn was good and came with 2 dipping sauces. The chicken dry noodles was also good with lots of vegetables. The portions here are quite big. Became quite crowded after 7.30 pm hence best to come early.

Enjoyed a huge portion of delicious Vietnamese food here. The prawn rolls’ skin was a bit tough to chew, but the rest of the dishes were five-star quality.
Come back again with their pho pork noodle. Soothing broth with Vietnam’s coffee. ☕️

Meat is so tender and flavourful for lemongrass chicken. Spring roll delicious too. Pho beef tender and broth nice but noodle is a bit hard

The current weekday lunch promotion is super value for money! Delicious dry lemon grass chicken bun (beehoon) with fried spring roll plus rich tasting lemongrass drink for $9.90++. Additional order of prawn and chicken summer roll was also yumz.

I recently visited the re-opened So Pho at NEX and was impressed by their flavorful hotpot offerings. The broth was rich and aromatic, providing a comforting base for the meal. I especially enjoyed the egg and beef combination—the beef was tender, and the egg added a velvety texture that elevated the soup and meat( like sukiyaki) .
The service was prompt and friendly, with the staff being attentive to our needs without being intrusive. The environment was clean and nicely decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing meal.
If you're looking for a good hotpot experience with great service in a pleasant setting, So Pho at NEX is worth a visit.

One of the few Vietnamese food place near me, where they serve egg coffee. Been craving for it since we tried it in Vn.

Food tasted yummy with awesome service. Staff were pro-active when we needed lighter to light a candle for birthday celebration. Even proactively brought us plates and utensils. Thumbs up to the service staff there. But serving of drinks (lemongrass) in particular took us longer then expected

So good, tastes so fresh. I love Viet food.
I had the softshell crab spring rolls and lychee tea.
This is a very nice place to eat. Staff are friendly and competent. The atmosphere is cozy, but sometimes a bit noisy especially around mealtimes. I try to eat off schedule, either a late lunch or early dinner to avoid throngs of people. Food is what to be expected, especially after reading the other reviews. I always read reviews before I eat somewhere.

Today I was at Nex branch on sunday for dinner and was really pleased with my orders.. Good experience since it wasnt crowded and the branch manager was seriously very good service. Same for those staff that serve me too. Food wise.. its still nice. Whats missing maybe if they could include a bottle of vietnamese hoi sin sauce, thai/vietnamese fish sauce and some grounded black pepper to DIY in your soup. Because authentic vietnamese pho.. its incomplete without them.
