I honestly prefer this over the few other BBT shops at NEX. Their flavoured pearls are their USP, and I dare say every single iteration they have came up thus far, including the previous Chrysanthemum pearls, were all darn good. I like the pink cactus one the most, with a hint of honey. Also tried their new Orange Pulp series, and the pulps make it seem like a packeted orange juice from NTUC 😂 it was OK, but I believe the Earl Grey would taste better the Green Teas. Haven't tried all the flavours cos I normally order the Taiwan and SG milk teas, and I honestly couldn't tell any difference. One is supposed to be more milky, and if it is, its negligible. I really hate queuing here though. Even if you get to order, you need to find a place to wait for your order, which is almost impossible if you already have to queue to order. This is the only factor I don't drink from them every other day. Update: 3 PEARLS OPTION IS THE BEST!

A staff here at Playmade NEX just provided me superb service. She was soooo patient with me registering as a new member. From a business perspective, she asked me if I am a member. She is helping members to use their membership and/or recruiting member. So I joined. MeiSee is her name. Am so impressed. She was promoting the reusable tumbler and showing me the different “package”/ options. In a way, she helped me made decision some savings and showed me her professionalism of giving customers choices and indirectly allowing savings made from the options. Win-win for both parties. Never once she displayed negative body language, facial expression or tone. Luckily no queue behind me. Else I might not (not sure) witness/experience a genuine, knowledgeable and approachable service. You’ve just gotten a new member and a likely “active” member…. Hope her genuine service /work attitude get recognized by all her colleagues, customers and higher management. Thanks for reading till this point. 😉

In Singapore, this is one of my favorite BBT brands! My favorite drink from the store is yakult green tea with pink cactus pearls. The pearls are chewy and flavorful, which really goes well with the tea! I am extremely grateful for the numerous flavoring options for pearls, such as grape, which is only available during specific seasons.

Ordered the new chrysanthemum milk tea and it was really nice and I really love it. It’s a bit sweet and great for those who have a sweet tooth. Can order 50% sugar for a start. Chrysanthemum pearls was really pretty and chewy, can see the flower petals inside. It also lives up to its name! Really can taste the chrysanthemum flower flavour.
