MOS Burger

They forgot the mos in mos burger. I guess I'll just put Kaya in it now

26 Jul 2025 update Being a Chilli Crab Sauce connisuer has literally forced my hand at trying every fast food iteration of this local dish and I must say MB has got the taste and egginess of the sauce down right on par with LJS, edges out KFC for heat and trounced McD abysmal collab with Jumbo. However, MB will have to take a take back seat to LJS and KFC as these two have worked the sauce into proper meals and not just as a condiment for 4 mini mantous. MB could have done better like incorporate the CC sauce into their rice burger or just do the mantou burger bun but with yakiniku beef or anything fpr that matter. But nope, they got some prawn noodle turned into a burger which I didnt like the smell so I skipped that. I did dip my MB fried chicken into the CC sauce and it was nice - missed opportunity there. Previous Review Tried the new burger which they just launched this week and was quite disappointed, lack of sauce ensured that the Tsukune patty, beef yakiniku that were combined into one meal was dry, tasteless and overall quite sad. I had to use the plain white rice bun and meats to try and mop up whatever sauce that was on the wrapper tp get a semblance of taste. Also tried the spicy seaweed shaker fries and this is nothing like my fav McD ones. Even though the seasoning was abundant, they season it for you, but all I tasted was a somewhat salty BBQ taste with barely any trace of seaweed - missed opportunity as I actually quite like the chunkiness of the chips. Perhaps the only safe option of the day was having the comforting corn soup that npw features grains of corn at the bottom of the cup. Oct 2024 Update Decided to try Mos Burger again as I was craving teriyaki burger but Mac was way too crowded. To my surprise, front line staff service improved tremendously. The burger was pretty good too, while the meat was suitably coated with the sauce, the rice bun was nor. I had the fried chicken fillet and that was very nice, with a crisp crust and juicy inside. Finally the corn soup is the main reason why I keep coming back to Mos.

Really lousy and inattentive service crew. Waited more than 11 minutes for just a drink. Went to the counter and asked and the guy just waved me off asking me to wait till the number is called. Turns out the drink had been ready long ago and my number was not called. Didn’t even bother to check. Will not purchase from here again

For $8.20, this is pathetic. Another brand that I foresee to close down in the near future

I don’t normally go for fast food, but MOS burger was known to have a healthier and better quality food compared to other fast food chains. Came here with a friend. Ordered the Yakiniku rice burger, loved the taste albeit abit messy but eating with a fork or spoon helps. Beef was juicy and tender, rice burger has that char and crunch with soft chewy insides. My only pet peeve was with the salad n drink add on for $5.3. Was surprised with how small the salad was… like it’s a crime Sia. At least got Coke Zero to cushion the blow… I wonder if I’m the only one adding on the salad lol. it even cost more than the actual burger hahahah Good food just pricy. Total damage of $10.10. Nice ambience and service tho. Loved that it’s quaint and quiet.

Sat down & waited for my son to join me so that we can order lunch together at MOS Burger. After slightly more than 5 mins, I was approached by a senior lady staff who asked if I was ordering food there to which I answered “yes, I’m waiting for my son to order together, is it allowed?”. She replied “yes” as she walked away. Staff should be trained to observe first before deducing that people are sitting there without consuming food. It is offensive to just approach customers in this manner. This is the first time I have been approached in a fast food restaurant for just taking a seat momentarily. Although it was close to 1pm, the restaurant was not even half filled. While I understand that there are non-patrons who occupy seats, staff must also be trained to differentiate between genuine customers & non-customers. The two female staff were constantly eye-balling for offenders, made customers like myself feel so unwelcomed. The only star I gave was for the pleasant young man at the cashier.

Went in excited, left unsatisfied. Why so stingy with the sauce? Half a tiny tub of sauce for the burger, not even enough. Staff said not allowed to get more sauce, can't even buy an extra tub. Without the sauce, your burger is just dry and tasteless. Disappointed.

I order 3 drink , 1 soup, 1 Fries it take me 30 mins just to wait for this order . Approach the staff , the manager tell me to sit down and wait . My visit to mos burger outlets recently has been bad as their service is really very slow . My fries has hair inside , approach the staff they refuse to change as well . So i had enough of waiting and walk off . This will be my last visit to mos burger , its really disappointing .

Went in happy. Came out miserable. Mussels used to be big. Now batter 80%, mussel 20%. Can see how big the mussel is from the hole. Yakiniku rice burger. Sliced beef sooooo little. Finished with 2 mouthfuls and im left with rice. Fries is not crunchy like it used to be. Ordered 2 burger sets and one set of 4 pieces mussels, $29! Thought i was eating some atas food. In the end, i was still hungry after eating the meal. Can eat fiveguys with $29. Thank you for the wonderful memories mos burger. You will be missed.
