I’ve been a loyal customer of this TCM beauty outlet at NEX Mall since they first opened — around 5 years ago. I started with facial treatments and really liked my beautician, so I signed up for packages and stayed with them for 2 years. At one point, my beautician persuaded me to buy a $1000 credit package, assuring me it could be used for any treatment — face or body. But soon after, she abruptly left, and the store manager gave me an unclear, unconvincing explanation. I had no choice but to continue since I still had my facial package and the $1000 credit. Later, the new manager claimed that the credit could only be used for basic body treatments — not what was promised. Since all previous staff had left and I no longer had the receipt, I just accepted it and continued using the credit for massages. Over time, I was pressured multiple times to purchase other treatments. I eventually agreed to a package with herbal bath and hip treatments. Recently, I clearly stated via WhatsApp that I wanted to do herbal bath + 2-hour massage (using my credit) + hip treatment (from my package). But again, they only gave me herbal bath + 1-hour massage. When I asked the therapist if it was really 2 hours, she claimed she did 1 hour for body and 1 hour for legs — but the entire session started at 4 PM and was over by 4:50 PM. I was speechless, but I said nothing and left quietly. What shocked me even more was that they said they couldn’t find my record. Instead, they wrote it down manually in a random notebook and asked me to sign it. I couldn’t even verify my previous sessions. They claimed everything is in their computer system — but after all these experiences, I no longer trust them. 👉 To others considering this outlet: please be cautious. Get everything in writing. Don’t rely on verbal promises, and keep your receipts. I stayed loyal for years, but the service and integrity have gone downhill.
