A bit of bill shock when I was told the Yong Tau Fu is treated as “Fish” and cost $4. 🥲 I wish the store would have remind before I choose the dish. Firstly, not really filled with fish much and total price of $11 for mixed economical rice is not so economical after all. I’d like to think what the others think?

Whatever you do, do not order from the economic rice store at the food republic. I bought 1 meat, 1 veg and 1 tofu and it cost me $8, which is frankly absurd. I would have been willing to overlook the price if the food was good, but the vegetable and tofu was tasteless. The meat (sour and sweet pork) was tough and full of flour. Terrible food and terrible service

Stopped by 100% Punched Lemon Tea after window shopping at NEX! Had the Osmanthus Polong Lemon Punch & Mint Lemon Punch. It's really refreshing and a palate cleanser. The fragrance and the acidity goes well with the earthy notes of the Osmanthus Oolong tea blend. As for the Mint variant, it marries well with the lemon tea and punched lemon, uplifting the fresh after-scent once you've sipped it. Super refreshing, my personal favourite so far! Always look forward to this not-so-sweet treat at NEX!

This was my 2nd visit to the NEX food republic fish stall. The lady staff was not friendly and polite. Her accent I think is from Vietnam. She took order from me was like I owe her like that. Assume we know fish soup very well. When she ask do I want milk ? Was like the milk super expensive we cannot afford like that. Her face was super impolite. Compare to the lady staff beside her selling curry rice. At least that staff is better than her when I enquiry about the Yuu points. She replied me nicely. When I ask Yuu points from that fish stall lady staff, she replied very impatient and I don’t even understand what she say. Cause I wanted to collect points so the curry rice stall say if spent $8.00 can get points so I spent $8.00 at the fish stall so I ask for points. The fish stall lady don’t know reply me what. So I was fed up so just walk away. Don’t know why she acted this way . Ask her cherish her job. If not happy just quit and go back hometown. Don’t come here spoilt pple appetite.

Formosa Delight stall. I bought 8 fried dumplings from them. It was my breakfast and there isn't any crowd. When I received my dumpling from them, feeling disappointed as it is totally oily. The 3rd picture shows the paper not able to absorb any further oil, hence the layer of oil are above the paper. Standard drop tremendously bad! I remember it was still nice when I came here during dinner time with the queue and crowd.
