The newly renovated Food Junction (27 March 2025) at NEX Mall has undergone a significant transformation, offering a more modern and comfortable dining experience. Refreshed interior features a sleek, contemporary design with improved ventilation and air conditioning, making it a more pleasant space to enjoy meals. Have expanded seating area, which helps accommodate more diners, reducing wait times for tables. Food court now boasts a greater variety of food options, with new stalls adding to the diverse selection. A highlight to look forward to is the upcoming Yuen Kee dumplings, a well-known outlet that will surely attract food lovers. Given the popularity of Food Junction at NEX, the renovations will make it an even more attractive spot for casual dining.

We went there for breakfast today n bought fried bee hoon from the drink stall. They served uncooked chicken wings. When we asked for replacement, the staffs first ignored and pretend not to see us then told us they can’t give us a replacement cos the rest of the chicken wings are also uncooked. However saw them continue selling the chicken wings. No attempt to sell edible food at all. Not going back for sure!

Wide Variety of food. Spacious clean. Updated 26/4/25: just renovated. Feels more bright and have some new stalls. Enjoyed the new stalls and cleaner feel but price increased for some stalls. Before Reno 2024: Fairly priced. Enjoyed the halal teppanyaki with colleagues with is large portion and good. The hidden gem is the Haig road putu piring. Must order but long waiting time. It’s worth it because don’t neee to travel fair to enjoy this rare to find local food and yet delicious. As usual in sg foodcourt everything is self service.

Tried the Teochew style sliced King Grouper Fish Soup for $19, not too bad for the portion (ard 10 slices in total). The soup was light and refreshing, and the grouper slices were firm and fresh. Unfortunately, the person mixed in a few pieces of mushier, skinless fish which wasnt the grouper fish (we ordered) plus it didn’t taste fresh…. Not an honest business! Chilli was good and appetising but still felt a bit like a bait-and-switch. Though a good bowl overall, but that part was disappointing. 👎🐟 Felt cheated.

May 2025 after renovation, not sure if EggThai is the same thai stall before renovation. I always order chicken pad thai but it seems to be worse after renovation. This week, had something else for lunch, then proceed to order from EggThai's pandan leaf wrapped chicken take away ($8.20 which includes 30cents for take away) for dinner to share with hubby. Waited for 25mins bcos only 2 staff handling lunch crowd. Went to toilet, came back ask lady whether my take away is ready and her rude answer was "have to cook, still cooking, wait!" Finally saw the 3rd staff came back and my take away was ready. The chicken was very small, salty, slightly spicy. Had to give 3 pieces to my hubby and 1 for myself as it is too small to share with another person. Note: while waiting I could see lady cook using bare hands to pick up ingredients to prepare food. The 3rd male indian staff that arrived late did the same thing, worst part is that he opened the trash bin with his hand and continue to prepare next dish with same hands. The fish store next to this thai store have 3 man handling orders and food, saw that they bother to use tongs to pick up ingredients before cooking.

This jajangmyeon is a new dish from the Korean stall. The taste is ok but the salmon piece is razor-thin n my first time eating jajangmyeon with not enough sauce to cover all the noodles. Hmm don't think I'll eat it again. Too disappointing. Will rather go Taka B2 food hall for the same price dish with much better quality.

Chee Cheong fun is horrible. Sauce is horrible. $4.80. Look how dry it is. Also, why is this place is so bright? Feels like I’m at the police station. Service for drink stall (same store that serve this horrible CCF) didn’t even know how to make the CCF and took the aunty’s order first instead of mine. Mind you she cut everybody’s queue but this uncle don’t know how to see. You put stickers on the floor to indicate where the queue should be for what? Bonus: pepper lunch paywave machine not even working but that’s fine because the food was good Never coming here again.

Disappointed. The ginkgo in the cheng tung was spoiled and sour. They have replaced it, not apologetic. Plus their cutleries were dirty with brown stains on most spoons. 👎🏼

Toast box and some popular stalls no longer here. FJ only 2 staffs selling hot n cold drinks, tim sum, mee siam mee rubeus, fried bee Hoon and even hot n cold dessert. The bee Hoon of mee Siam is really uncook and sauce of mee reheus also not properly cook. Prepared by uncle, by seeing the way they cook, they are not trained at all. I wanted to order Milo, and was told Milo no supply yet??? The whole place can be seen not crowded anymore, seems not worth eating here at all
