Customers can maximize savings through Link Rewards cards and the FairPrice Group app, which provides access to exclusive deals and promotions. Whether stocking up on weekly groceries, finding household appliances, or picking up last-minute necessities, FairPrice Xtra delivers exceptional value and convenience that has made it an indispensable part of NEX's retail ecosystem.
Can find almost anything here, even the old school buying of physical lottery tickets. Gets extremely crowded on weekends and has the potential for human stampedes during pre-CNY shopping seasons. Tempers may flare thanks to the claustrophobic pathways and unhelpful staff, and we have witnessed a few altercations over the years, usually between the customers. You are better off shopping online in the comfort of your home.

Management did not train their staff properly. At the fish section I saw the fish monger handling over a fish with blood n melted ice or water in a plastic bag to customer. Surely there must be better standard of cleaning and handling fish. The Japanese supermarkets like Isetan, Sogo are very good at this and their fish is usually much fresher. They have better know how. We can learn from them. Then at the cashier self checkout the staff has no patience to serve customer from beginning to the end. Fast service does not mean good service.

Almost everyday i go shopping at NEX fairprice. Everytime I encounter this lady cashier there’s always an issue. Even asked for her name last time. But I just ignored it maybe she having a bad day. Then Last night I was at the self-checkout counter.saw her and mistreated me again. I kindly asked her help to cancel 1 of the item that i bought. But then she suddenly told me so rudely to put back the item. I put the item on the floor so that i wont forget that i have to return it inside. And to make sure i dnt include it in my purchased item. She suddenly pick it up and bang it on the counter area. Picked my receipt and just throw in the table. Like seriously? As if I owe her anything. Fairprice Need to take action about this lady, if not lot of regular customers will stop shopping because of this kind of service.

Bought 2 packs MSW durian from NTUC nex today for $60. It’s the worst durian I’ve ever had. I donno where NTUC source their durians from?! At that price during durian season is not cheap.

I had a bad encounter at the self checkout cashier today. The Filipino staff in attendance was rude and impatient. And while I was packing my groceries in my plastic bag she took the basket away and threw away my 365 QR code in the bin. When I asked her why she do that she denied. I saw the QR code in the bin. I hope Nex store manager can see the cctv and give an explanation of her action.

I would like to provide feedback regarding a cashier, Linda Coa, at the NTUC Nex branch.
During my visit today, I noticed that she appeared impatient when we requested to make payment using the NTUC app. When we asked for a printed receipt, despite the transaction being made through the app, she rolled her eyes and paused noticeably before proceeding.
Her attitude made the experience uncomfortable, and I hope this feedback can help improve customer service moving forward.

Late Night Heaven at FairPrice Xtra 🌙🛒
Who says late-night shopping is just for last-minute groceries? FairPrice Xtra takes it to a whole new level! Whether I'm grabbing essentials or just wandering the aisles for fun, this place never disappoints.
From electrical hardware and bedding to steaming hot meals for those midnight cravings 😋—it’s like a mini adventure every time I go. The best part? It's open 24/7, 365 days a year (well, except for a few hours during Lunar New Year, because hey, even retail heroes deserve a celebration 🎉).
FairPrice Xtra isn’t just a store. It’s my go-to late-night playground without squeezing the long queue during peak hours!!!😝✌️

A good FairPrice supermarket with almost all the essentials one needs.
For vegans and vegetarians, there are plenty of plant-based options like dairy-free cheese, milk, meat, ice cream etc; besides tofu, fruits and vegetables.
There’s even a traditional Medical Hall kiosk selling different types of herbal tea.

Last week, I bought the following Fairprice potato chips, re: Black Pepper Crab, Kopi and Laksa flavours. Wow! Wow! Wow! These chips are phenomenal. All of them taste like the flavour they represent. I was not sure about the coffee one but bought it out of curiosity and now, I love the coffee chip one best. The coffee just lingers in your mouth! Super yummy and so amazingly addictive! They are on special now at $1.95 / pack.
I would like to commend Ms Doreen Tan from NEX Fairprice. I wanted to pay through my app but because I said it wrongly, she thought I wanted to pay through my Link points. Luckily she clarified with me and explained to me how to say it and for this, I am grateful. I remember once one staff also deducted my Link points instead and I was so disappointed because I wanted to save my Link points for a contest. Anyway, before I left, Ms Tan even took the trouble to remind me to claim the gifts for the purchases. Ms Tan is the first and so far, the only staff who has done this and for this, I am thankful. A few times, I forgot and had to go back to claim my free gifts. Once I even totally forgot about the free gifts but it was too late to claim.
Ms Lim Ai Tin is another staff who deserves commendation. She is very polite and professional. She is always calm in dealing with difficult customers. Once, I saw an unreasonable customer shouting at her at the top of his voice but she handled it extremely well and brought calm and peace to the situation. She treats all her customers with respect but what I love most is that she is well-versed in her job. When I am unsure of some promotion, etc, I’d join her queue and ask her.
Ms Liladevi has, I think, the sweetest and most welcoming smile of all the staff in NTUC XTRA NEX. I have been served by her many times and she has been consistently excellent in her service. Recently, on 26 June 2025, she served me at the self service checkout. For the daily specials, I had the $1 off for $10 purchase. I thought that I had already calculated everything including subtracting the discount for the CHAS card. However, when it came to the payment, it was rejected because it was a few cents short and I panicked. Ms Liladevi came to my aid. She reassured me that all would be well and resolved the matter for me very speedily. Ms Liladevi has assisted me on numerous occasions in the past, for which, I am very grateful!
I would also like to commend all the staff at the NEX Fairprice Customer Service booth as they are very well trained. Most of the time, I just present my receipt and they would give me the corresponding gifts. Sometimes there are more than one item which comes with a gift. They are always super efficient. Only once did a staff ask me which item I was claiming for.
Thank you Ms Doreen Tan, Ms Lim Ai Tin, Ms Liladevi, the staff at Customer Service & NTUC.

Best outlet within the Serangoon Hougang Kovan vicinity to find all your household and grocery needs. Huge variety of brands, flavors and latest products here. All well-stocked. Seafood and fruits are very fresh and restocked daily too. Most importantly, the queue system has improved alot with very efficient service staff - kudos to the team here. It can get pretty confusing sometimes given the large land space here but you’ll get through the “mess” somehow. There are electronics and toys sections as well for those looking for alternative household items. Lots of CNY offers now given the time of the year too at reasonable prices.

Huge outlet with large variety including non food items. However always super crowded

The leading supermarket chain in Singapore. This hypermarket is my favourite place for grocery shopping. At here, you have a more wider range of products to choose from compare to other Fairprice outlets. They have a wide range of fresh produce including organic produces. A big section of grocery with wellness/organic items, non food and section for electrical appliances. I can find most of the items i need.
This outlet is always very crowded but it operate 24hours daily. You can avoid the crowd and come later in the night.
