The queue/waiting time at this outlet is superrrrrrrr long. Maybe becos they have to cater to online/delivery orders, staff will leave the physical queue people waiting. In between physical queue customers, the counter staff went off to pack orders without a word 😓
Hence the physical queue moved very very slowly. After ordering, the wait for drinks is also v long. Took at least 30min to queue and get my drink.
Dongding oolong with mousse also tasted like something’s missing. Better to stick with my pouchong passionfruit next time.
Btw, why can’t I add both juice and mousse to my tea???

Ordered 4 cups after lunch. There were 1 visible staff. No one at the cashier, so we thought to order via self-svc kiosk.
After ordering, my friend highlighted that there's a Monday- 2nd cup half price promotion on the Tv. We proceed to enquire with the lady making tea, she was slightly irritated that we didn't see the sentence stated that customer 'Must place order at the physical cashier' then can enjoy the promo.
We were kind of taken aback because we dont work there, the slides on Tv wasn't permanent, and the sentence for promo is ONLY ON THE MAIN PAGE OF THE KIOSK, which most of the time it's not the landing page when customer order and easily missed.
Maybe it's the weather maybe it's the lack of staffs on a Monday afternoon, or maybe we were asking for it, to endure the attitude.
If the company truely wants to run a promo, shouldn't it be permanently illustrated somewhere, and allow customer who order via self-svc kiosk to enjoy the promo automatically, considering we are doing part of the customer service ourselves and reducing staff workload.
Order Chicha on Grab overpriced and frequent wrong order, order physical at shop always kena attitude. Not the first outlet that staffs always looks unhappy at work.

A good taste of Taiwan tea! Very fragrant tea smells every time I walk past. Love that the tea is well made, on the spot, and that we can customize the sugar levels. Sustainable packaging is used too! Staff are usually very friendly and cheerful when asking about the different toppings!
Tried their Taro Oat Milk Tea and it is super delicious! Quite filling though, can be a good tea time treat :)

The staff were undeniably friendly and welcoming. They greeted me with a smile and were more than happy to answer my questions about the menu. Their positive attitude created a pleasant atmosphere, despite the crowd. However, it's worth mentioning that the service was a bit slow due to the high number of customers. Patience is required during busy times.
Now, onto the star of the show—the tea. The flavors were exceptional and had a strong, delightful taste. Whether you prefer fruity, creamy, or traditional options, this place offers a wide variety to satisfy your cravings. I particularly enjoyed the pearls, which were perfectly cooked and added a delightful texture to the drinks.
The bubble tea here is on the expensive side compared to other similar establishments. While the quality and taste are commendable, it would be more enticing if the prices were more competitive or if they offered some additional value for the higher cost.
In conclusion, this bubble tea store has its merits, with friendly staff and delicious, flavorful tea. The pearl toppings are a highlight, adding an enjoyable element to the drinks

I've been to multiple chicha but I would say that Nex Chicha has been the most friendly and despite many orders, they are able to catch up and do the drinks quite quickly. I got my usual order of Cassia Tea with cream and bubble and the taste had no difference compared to other outlet. I would say that even though I have to wait about 13mins, I expected it to be longer as I saw that they only had 3 staff on a Friday night and had many orders as well. Surpringly, they were quite efficient and quick. I will come back to this outlet as it feels lively and you won't feel like you owe them money when you order and take your drink.

Chicha Nex is one of the best outlet I had visited. Compared to some other outlets, they recognise customers, in the sense that if the staff member is busy, they will tell us to hold on for awhile and attend to us within 5 mins. As i was queuing, some customers were really impatient but they still kept their composure and still served with a smile. I visited on 2 January 2025, with the new series, Fresh Taro Series. I ordered the Fresh Milk with Taro bubble. It is creamy and delicious as the taro paste and taro pearl has rich flavouring compared to Koi. I would definitely come back for Chicha now. Although, at peak periods, the waiting time may be 5 - 10 minutes, but it is worth the wait if the standard does not drop.

I was served by 弘川. He was fast in taking in my order and make sure my order was correct. The other staff members was also fast in making the drinks even though there was many orders in front of me. When i collected my drink, i was served by 巧巧 and she was really friendly and bubbly. Other reviews may say the staff are slow but i think that even with multiple orders, they are still quite fast. i only waited for about 5-10 mins on a Saturday around 12:45pm. I think those who complain about the waiting time are just impatient and we should give then a little more time when it is during peak periods. I will definitely come back to this store again on my future visits

The place is well designed and the atmosphere was filled with joy and enthusiasm from the staff! They were ready to serve me even as I was walking towards the store from a distance. They were well trained as they cleared all of my doubts ordering. Although they had many people and delivery orders ahead of me, I only waited for about 5-10 mins for my drink which was Cassia Black Tea with cream and Green tea with mousse at 50% sugar, less ice and no toppings. The cream was really very savoury and the mousse is sweet and salty which I was informed that it is made fresh daily. Although the price may be a little over expensive as a student, however, once in awhile getting to drink Chicha is worth it! Will come back to Nex again.
