Imagine a higher end teppanyaki experience compared to the usual food court ones and that is what you'll get. It can get insanely packed for dinner, so expect a line. There are seats lined around where the chef does his live magic and tables on their own as well. Serving portions are big, so be mindful of that. Overall, the food was not too shabby. Would avoid the lava oknomiyaki because it turned out nothing like what was advertised - without the gooey oozing cheese.

Tot there was a queue, in no time, the staff pulled a chair to push in a tight hot cooking table. As the staff did check with me whether I can dine-in at outside. Still prefer to watch the chef doing the teppanyaki in action on the spot. Had a nice set meal & would prefer to have the red cut chilli to stir fry with the meat 😋

Tried this for lunch- premium ribeye steak was pretty good- garlic sauce. Pork lunch set was ok. Some kick watching the guy prep your lunch in front of you. Service was good. Can't say it's cheap but that's the way it is in Singapore nowadays. Average value, could repeat

Sitting at the Teppanyaki table, it's great to marvel at the remarkable skill of the chefs. My father-in-law always chooses to come here for our meal whenever we are at Nex so it should tell you how good the food is. As with most Teppanyaki, the food tends to be a little too salty as the chef can't taste the food. I love the service too. They serve the complimentary veg even before you order and the ice Yuzu slushy after your meal. It is so refreshing!

Decent teppanyaki counter hot plate experience. It was not that hot at the counter like other places. Food was okay. Service was fine.

Had an absolutely delicious lunch at Nex Mall, and it was a feast for both the eyes and the stomach! 🤩 I indulged in two incredible types of Okonomiyaki – the Seafood Okonomiyaki, loaded with fresh, tender seafood, and the cheesy Okonomiyaki, oozing with rich, melted cheese in every bite. 🦞🧀 Alongside that, I enjoyed a hearty Pork Set Meal and a flavorful Beef Set Meal, each perfectly cooked and satisfying. 🍖🍚 Every dish was bursting with flavour, leaving me feeling very full but totally satisfied! A big shoutout to Chef Liang, who was an absolute pro —watching him expertly dice, chop, and toss the dishes, made the whole experience even more exciting. 🔪🍳 The sizzling sounds and the delicious smells made it a sensory overload in the best way possible! If you love Japanese comfort food, this place is a must-try! 😋 At 12 pm, there was a 16 min queue to get a seat in the popular restaurant. #sedapinsg #shiokinsg #YakiYakiBo

I used to be a regular customer, dining there once a week ever since they set up shop at NEX. Over time, I noticed the air conditioning in their various outlets within the same premises deteriorating. As there’s no shortage of Japanese food, I visit only once a month despite their good promotion via loyalty card. Not sure if others felt the same. As an okonomiyaki fan, I feel there’s room for improvement in both texture and moisture. The batter isn’t finely milled, and the cabbage is too coarse, affecting the overall bite. At $17.87 after tax, it’s quite pricey for okonomiyaki. Unfortunately, they don’t seem receptive to feedback or suggestions.

Ordered the garlic shoyu beef lunch set for around $20. Beef quality was definitely better than typical food court teppanyaki. Comes with a few appetizers, though they were a bit bland.

Superb food quality and service. Dishes were absolutely delicious, seasoned nicely and exactly what you would have high quality Japanese food taste. Prices are fair and actually really value for money. Service was fantastic, fast and they even gave us complimentary appetizers and Yuzu shots (similar to beauty in the pot). Overall extremely satisfied and will definitely come back to eat again.

Lucky for us there was no queue. Ordered sliced beef with Black Pepper. Ordered it with fried rice, soup and sprouts. Portion is good. Beef is tender....not bad though but I feel that the sauce is a bit too much and the sprouts is a little overcooked. Other than that, service is great as the servers always pay attention to our needs. Ambience is nice too!
