Disappointing Experience. Tried the 1-for-1 breakfast deal, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations. - Coffee/Hazelnut drink: dilute, cold, and lacking flavor - Breakfast: arrived cold, suggesting poor timing or reheating issues While the 1-for-1 offer seemed attractive, the quality didn't match the value.

This is a common place that we always come but today's service from this malay guy staff (wearing specs) was poor. Understand that Nex coffee bean is always crowded and everyone is given 60mins to finish their drinks. I may not be right but I believe this 60min may apply to when its crowded and long queue waiting for seats. It was 1056PM, and there was no queue when we were being targeted to give up the seat. There are other people that came earlier than us but were not targeted. We are not yet occupying the seat for 60mins (according to the time of purchase show in receipt). But the malay staff just has to raise his voice infront of us and ask us to give up the seat since we sat for more than 60mins. He then raised his voice to everyone and ask whoever that stayed more than 60mins to give up the seats too. This has never happen for the past many times when I came. And It's a little ridiculous how he tried to embarrassed us infront of everyone. Not sure if he is trying to make us buy more to stay longer. Fact: no queue at all. Another note was the cold brew tea. There is a note stating that all cold brew tea comes in original or sparkling. But no price difference was stated. Thus, I asked for sparkling after paywave. He rudely answered that sparkling different price and walk away. Afterwards when he was done with my drink, upon asking about the price difference, he then checked and told me sparkling price (about $2ish more). He could have just inform me the price difference and charge me the remaining if I decided to go with sparkling. Felt so rudely treated. Fun fact: Reading back to old reviews, guess this is not the first time he was rude during his service.

Hi CBTL NEX Manager/Staff, I understand how busy the café can get, even during late hours. I’d like to suggest monitoring or managing seat allocations more closely. For example, one person occupied two tables for schoolwork, while a group of four used an area meant for six people. It also took about 20 minutes before assistance was provided in this situation. Addressing this could help ensure smoother seating arrangements for everyone, especially during crowded times. Thank you for your attention and understanding

Had a pleasant afternoon tea with my colleagues. Female Staff was friendly and helpful to get us a seat despite all seats were occupied. Kudos to the team!

Great service from HAKIM 👍🏼 It was a full house & it appeared that they were understaffed. After ordering about half an hour before Ramadan breaking fast time , Hakim gave me a beeper , told me to take a seat but he said that he would deliver my order to me. I thought I heard wrongly so I remained seated & waited. I saw that within a short time , he not only manned the order counter alone , but in between clearing the many take away orders , he also zoomed in & out to clear the deposited trays - all done within 15 minutes ! Wow , I was impressed. I was on my phone when suddenly , I found my full tray of order in front of me - served personally by Hakim , at the perfect timing of 3 minutes to breaking fast time !!! Double Wow 👏👏 THANK YOU HAKIM 💙
