On top of their amazing food presentation is also the plus point here, feast your eyes before stomach. We will skip Pesto Pasta on our next visit though. It doesnt have the prominent pesto flavor we are looking for. Other than that, the rest dishes so good, we were all nodding continuously in agreement as we indulge.

A Missed Deal but a Tasty Find at Tamago-EN šŸ³šŸ” Yesterday, my friend Keat told me that Tamago‑EN at NEX was running a special 1-for-1 promo from June 30 to July 2, 2025 only for the first 50 customers each day. He had already tried it and said the food was really good, especially the new fried sandos, and told me to go check it out. Excited by the thought of a good deal and even better food, I made my way down. But sadly, by the time I got there, the 1-for-1 promo had already been fully redeemed. šŸ˜ž Even though I missed the deal, I didn’t want to leave without trying the food. So I decided to go ahead and order something anyway. I got the Lychee Fruit Tea light, fragrant, and refreshing and their signature Ultimate Steak Burger. Let me just say, the burger was worth it. It came stacked with tender slices of grilled sirloin steak, layered with soft, silky scrambled eggs and topped with a perfect sunny-side-up egg. The kicker was the ume mayo a unique Japanese plum mayonnaise that added a light, tangy punch to balance the richness. All of that was nestled in a fluffy brioche bun, and served with crispy furikake fries and a fresh mesclun salad on the side. Even without the promo, it was a satisfying and memorable meal. I can see why Keat recommended it. Next time, I’ll definitely aim to arrive earlier but for now, I’m glad I stayed and gave it a shot. Tried the Sandos, will be goo to note they are only available for takeaway. the sweet sandos especially do take time so expect a little wait but its worth~ Highly recommend the Strawberry Sando! its filles with strawberries and the cream is not overly sweet. Peach, Tiramisu, Creme Brulee and Tiramisu is all pretty average. Peach is filled with peach n walnuts, Tiramisu has some coffee soaked pieces but the rest is just different flavoured cream. Savoury Sandos are pretty yummy especially the Egg Salad and Curry Chicken, keep you wanting more. Chicken Nanban is not bad as well if you like tartar sauce. Beef Steak is slightly pricier and the slices of beef lacks the wow factor so its very average in my opinion.

First time here & I’m impressed! The food isn’t just delicious—it’s a work of ART. The presentation truly showcases the beauty of Japanese cuisine, making every dish as stunning as it is tasty. Can’t wait to come back for more!

Arrived at the restaurant and saw quite a few empty table but a queue sign outside that said "please wait to be seated". stood there for 3mins looking towards staff for someone to notice and bring me in. In the end staff just wave at me and gestured i can seat anywhere. Felt that service with regards to this could be improved on so that customers don't have to waste time wsiting around meaninglessly. ordered the omurice with steak. Food came quickly. Egg was really creamy and delicious. Steak was ok. Slightly more sauce could have given since steak was served with the dish as well and the sauce can be used to dip to steak as well (felt that sauce ratio was a bit off nearing the end of the meal). The egg + rice could have been bigger cause the star of the show should be the omurice and not the steak given tamago is the restaurant's name.

Tried their breakfast set and the croque monsieur. The breakfast set was ok, nothing special but the croque monsieur had plenty of nasty onions in it and it wasn’t conveyed on the menu, minus points for that. The eggs also didn’t taste significantly better than normal eggs to me. The desserts fared way better than the mains. Really enjoyed the tofu cheesecake and the egg pudding.

Egg Salad Sando is eggy, nicely seasoned. Strawberry Sando not bad, not sweet. Price point on the higher side, cannot dine in only can takeout.

The beef steak omurice is average, the croque monsieur is good, the smoked salmon avocado salad is also good, the white peach mocktail can try and the cheese cake is good. The dining area is relatively small and seating are close to each other.

The food is pretty decent for the price. Don't expect a gourmet but it is not bad. Except for the cockroaches I saw running around, the meal would have been a more pleasant 1. And the auntie who I told about the cockroach removed it with her bare hand. I hoped she washed her hands after.

Disappointed. Saw good reviews to try and ordered 2 dishes; Chicken and Beef Omurice. Both plates of Omurice did not have their own taste/flavour. It is just Chicken and Beef flavoured from the meat, serves with mushroom fried rice and mushroom sauce. There wasn't any special marinated taste from the meat nor any 'Japanese' taste. The only positive side is that the food looks really good but did not meet up to the taste expectations. I guess it will be ideal for young kids as they are not knowledgeable about flavoury/savoury food. A separate sautƩed mushroom cost $3.60, but do not have its unique taste and come in very small portion (1 spoonful) as well. The price is comparable to Hoshino Coffee, but the taste and ambience loses it all. Even Monster Curry serves better Omurice. I am sorry, but it is hard to convince me to come back again unless the food has its own unique taste.
