Their power lunch set is super worth. See the ingredients in the picture. Would recommend the beef over fish as it’s of higher quality. Staffs are very friendly at the counter and also actively help us to top up drinks.

Had a lovely experience here—the staff were attentive and welcoming, making the meal even more enjoyable. The ingredients were noticeably fresh, and the golden pumpkin mushroom soup was a standout: rich, flavorful, and comforting. Will definitely be back!

20.06.2025 Our 1st & definitely won't be the last time to Shabu-Go! We were served by Calvin, full of enthusiasm, smiles & great service! We had the pumpkin set for 2 & it was sooo filling for us! As we ate rather slow, but both the staffs didn't chase us out & even spontaneously top up our soups for us continuously. Love the brightness & cleanliness of the place, making our dining in a very comfortable one. Even the condiments area was so spick and span! Thank you Calvin & the other staff who we didn't get his name, for making our 1st experience at Shabu-Go a very pleasant one.

I recently dined at Shabu-GO in NEX Mall, and it was an exceptional experience. The individual hotpot concept is perfect for solo diners or couples, offering a personalized and intimate meal. The menu boasts a variety of affordable sets, starting from $9.90, each including a choice of soup base, fresh meats or seafood, a vegetable platter, and Japanese vermicelli. I opted for the Pork & Beef Set with the Yuzu Dashi and Collagen-rich Paitan broths. The Yuzu Dashi was light and refreshing with a hint of citrus, while the Paitan broth was rich and flavorful. The meats were fresh and thinly sliced, cooking quickly to tender perfection. The accompanying vegetable platter added a delightful crunch and variety to the meal. The staff were attentive and proactive, ensuring our soups were consistently topped up and providing excellent service throughout the meal. The restaurant’s ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to enjoy a comforting hotpot meal. Overall, Shabu-GO offers a delightful and affordable Japanese hotpot experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a satisfying meal in NEX Mall.

Was with my aunt here for lunch last week, love the food and service! Reasonably priced for a set meal, comes with an ice-cream which we almost forgot but the lovely lady reminded us when we were just about to leave!

I had a lovely lunch here with my 2 boys, both said they like the food too. I ordered 2 set of power lunch, a pork and a beef set. The set lunch comes with lots of vegetables, refillable green tea drink, sauce and ice cream. I also ordered more meat items for my boy from the parent's day menu for $5. Also got a udon for my younger boy who does not eat much. No kids meal but I get to order small items like the udon and meat item and all is good. Staff is very helpful, refilling our soup stock when it is low and our drinks too.

Had the 2 pax meal. Needed to add more meat as the portion in the set wasn’t enough for the 2 of us. Service wise was top notch. Auntie make sure that we always had enough soup. Sauce condiments could be improved.

Revisited again. Had a much better dining experience. Soup were tasty. All ingredients were satisfying. Dip sauce came free with set meal. Service was friendly too. Would come back again for steamboat in future. We enjoyed our dinner here but felt the serving portion was a bit small. I generally don’t appreciate paying for dip sauce in a steamboat restaurant (don’t have “sacha sauce” some more). Decor and ambience were very soothing. Simple with much wood element. Soup base were good. We had mala and sukiyaki (sorry if spell wrongly). Mala was tasty but not too spicy.Suki was a bit sweet. Meats were within expectation. Pork belly was always our favourite. Would have preferred to have more veggies. The Japanese thick “beehoon” was surprisingly nice. Doesn’t soften even when over-cook. But for a rice bucket like myself, nothing beats a bowl of plain rice 🍚which, in this case, is really worth its price.

It's our 2nd time dining here, and we love love love their sukiyaki soup base! Today, we opted for the truffle sukiyaki soup (+2). Truffle lovers will enjoy this! We ordered half soup with 3 meat, 1 paste, 1 veg, 1 udon, 1 rice + egg set = $50 for 2 pax. Highly recommend their beef short plate & cuttlefish paste. The staff were proactively topping up our soup the entire time 💯💯

The video is a bit funny 😂! When I was taking it the steam fogged up the camera lens so it got blurry for a few seconds. Beyond that it was a good meal. The broth both felt tasty and healthy. We had the set for two for around $53++. It was fairly generous and good quality. They have a decent condiment bar to make your favorite dipping sauce. Define must try at NEX!
