Koo Kee has been a comforting go-to for many since young. Their yong tau foo and steamed rice sets are tasty, filling, and reasonably priced. They really are a gem, flavourful, generous, and ready in minutes. Service was warm and patient too. Just skip the drinks. Still one of the best spots for a quick, satisfying meal.

Always loved Koo Kee but this outlet’s portion and pricing is just off. Taste great as usual but this set for $10.5??? That’s 2 caifan with more ingredients. Will not come back to this outlet ever. Just normal food court.

Was met with a rude service staff. Firstly, I ordered green tea, she asked me to take it myself at the counter. This is fine but it was hidden at the side so I could not see it. She rolled her eyes and exclaimed ‘huh?!!’ v loudly ITS THERE CANT YOU SEE?! I was apalled that she was shouting at me when I only told her I can’t see where the green tea was from my angle. No voice raised from my side but shouting at her side only. Then she proceeded to gave me a cup with ice for my green tea not with ice but loads of ice water in it. Picture as evidence. This is not acceptable as I wondered why did the ice melted so quickly or did she serve me a cup of ice that was served up unfresh. Would not visit this store again. The China Chinese service crew lady has super bad attitude. This was when the restaurant is only half full. Not at all crowded for such a frustrated service staff.

This ytf I have been eating for many years, from a kid to the adult now and I still enjoy it. I like both the clear soup and laksa yong tau foo, I usually go for the tau kee and tau pok. I also quite like their steamed chicken with mushroom and well as the healthy steamed beancurd with fish paste in soy sauce. The fried “ufo” is nice and tasty as well. And their Cheong fun is also good for a quick bite.

Looking around NEX for a light dinner and decided to try out their soup and dessert. From the look of it, the soup is very clear and light while the dessert has a lot of toppings. The bowls are very cute btw. I personally find the soups are tasty most prob because of MSG, which I don’t really like it. The dessert are okay. The service is really fast. My order is ready when I was still in the midst of paying.

was craving for some steamed food and decided to try koo kee’s steamed rice! The steamed rice was delicious, tender and flavourful meat patty, right amount of rice! Soup was also yummy! it’s affordable and value for money! the 梅菜pork patty set that comes along with a bowl of soup cost $9 and the steamed chicken and mushroom rice cost $4.80 ish. A comfort bowl of hot rice, meat and soup that satisfies your hunger after a long day at work is definitely 💯! would visit this place as long as the pricing and quality remains! 😊

Koo Kee is not bad for Yong Tao Foo and tastes well. This is their own outlet which sells soup and desserts. I try dessert too not bad. Service staff forget about my dessert fortunately I got the receipt. All goes well and fast. However, I saw house flies at the counter I think the owner needs to do more.

In this visit, I noticed a pleasantly surprising change—the vegetable portion in the set meal seemed larger than before, though I might have imagined it. There's something about their noodles that's simply delightful, though I can't quite put my finger on what it is. The soup tasted lighter and healthier, not as salty as it used to be. Overall, a comforting experience!

Went on a Sat evening almost full. Ordered laksa noodles, Yong Tau Fu with noodles and chicken mushroom and sausages rice. Food: Still as good as thirty years ago(Chinatown). Sad, Vege is out of stock again. Service: Neutral, it's hawker style. Atmosphere: Tables too close. Not suitable for seniors or preschoolers. Will I go back again? Maybe.

Often visit nex outlet but I find that the service is often lacking. Just today, I have ordered 3 other dishes and mushroom chicken plate for dinner but the cashier missed out my mushroom chicken plate order even though I have spoken clearly at the beginning. So I went back to order again and the cashier even double confirmed that my order is S3. However, when I’m home, I found out that they have given me the wrong one! I was given the chicken mushroom sausage rice S1 instead. The receipt clearly shown that I have ordered the mushroom chicken plate. Let me be clear that the outlet was not crowded at all and I was the only one ordering at the counter. I don’t know why they can even give me the wrong one when it wasn’t crowded. First, they missed my order and second, they gave me the wrong one. This isn’t the first time that the service has left me frustrated. Previously, I have experienced missing orders for takeaways too. In addition, I just realised that they don’t put corianders anymore for takeaways but only when for dining in. Overall, the service is disappointing. I love the food here so I really hope the service can be up to standard and please pay more attention when taking orders and preparing the correct food ordered.
