Steak was served on a hot plate and turned well done fairly quickly. Would suggest transferring the steak (once it is the right doneness) onto a plate to prevent overcooking. The staff were very attentive. Their homemade ice lemon tea didn't taste like homemade and full of sugar syrup.

Uncle Jack is still going strong in the F&B game.š Stopped by the newly opened Jackās Place at Nex, and wow, the queue says it all ā this place is promising! We stuck to our classics: Sizzling Chicken Steak, Breaded Fish & Chips and Baked Salmon with creamy Yuzu Tom Yum Sauce (so good!). Dessert was a coffee, Cookies and Cream ice cream and Mango cake. The only hiccup? I visited this place at around 7:30 PM and was surprised to find no queue and plenty of available tables. The ordering process was smooth, and the food was served quicklyāboth within 10 minutes, which was quite efficient. However, the portion sizes were rather small, and the flavors were underwhelming. The taste was quite average, nothing particularly special or memorable. It didnāt stand out compared to similar places. Additionally, I ordered the baked potato, which only comes with sour cream as a topping. Unfortunately, there was no option to substitute it with any other toppings if you didnāt want sour cream, which was disappointing. Some flexibility in customization would have been appreciated.

So today, I went to Jacks Place at Nex and ordered the Motherās Day menu. I paid $40 for the steak option and in the system, you could āupgradeā to a baked potato at a top-up cost. However, it didnāt clearly state that by choosing this option, it replaces the truffle pasta and this saddened me as Iām an avid fan of pasta. When I spoke to the manager, she did not offer any forms of apology for the confusion caused and just brushed off my comment. I would not expect such a poor service from Jackās Place as I have had better experience at other outlets.

Food was not that good. Or should I say while it's edible, it's really some coffee shop western food standard. Better than your average coffee shop but nothing else stands out. Soup was bitter all the rest of the things are overcooked and dry . It's really not worth the price at all. Maybe the Jack's place days are long gone. Not recommended and I can't find any reason to go in.

Nice uncrowded setting on a Monday night. Food was decent and staff generally friendly. The oil used to fry the salted egg cutlet was a little over used judging by the color. Otherwise an ok experience.

Using Great Eastern vouchers for a meal every year has its own challenges every year. This year, we picked the outlet at Nex to try out. I was a bit surprised why the air con seems to be hardly working. My friend & I felt rather warm the moment we tried to consume our sizzling hot food. The air-conditioning works, but not really well.... especially when the place is crowded. But otherwise, the food is still quite decent šhere & I managed to have a good catch up session with my old friend. The staff seem to be a bit short handed during lunch hours though. However, the staff were reasonably friendly & tried to help as much as they possibly could. Finally got to taste the lobster bristo soup this year. Seems like the lobster series in Jack's place isn't too bad. šš¹ We can't stay too long because my friend isn't used to the strong smell of food stuck in the restaurant. Maybe the ventilation need to be improved in this outlet as well as other outlets.

Menu has a wide selection of steaks & more, including a Child's menu section. They have set lunch menus & promotions We had Jack's Steak Special (?), Chicken Chips, Barramundi Fish, Steak, Grandma's Beef Stew, Soup of the Day which was Tomato Soup & Lobster Bisque With the Citibank Credit Card promotion offer, we chose a complimentary Escargot I personally like their Grandma's Beef Stew Lunch time is particularly crowded For our dinner this evening, we made advance reservations to ensure we have seating for our party of eight. Glad to see on arrival that a table for eight has been already set up Friendly staff took our orders as we senior citizens did not want the hassle of ordering through the QR code.
