Yesterday Wednesday 25/6 I was at cold storage around 6.30pm upon exiting I saw 2 brave staff putting down a thief near the fruits section. In upholding the value of honesty and work ethics they took a step forward to work together. Bravo. I hope they were not hurt in the process. I hope Cold Storage gives them recognition for their dedication and bravery.

I choose a non peak hour around 11:30am to do a self checkout. When the final step to make payment, I decided not to buy and the self checkout machine need verification from CS staff, with a flashing light on top of machine to alert the staff. However I see the staff is happily chatting away with some customer (lover’s talk) taking their own sweet time. I have to approach the staff to urge her to help. Still she go attend to her other lover. All your aunties staff are absolutely unprofessional. What’s the use of the flashing light when nobody seems to care. Absolute nonsense. I think this shop is more suited for aunties lovers.

Simply wanted to buy a packet of fried shallots - 2 staff members pointed me to 2 different locations. Mind you, both were at the extreme ends. Worst of them all was the male 'manager' (3rd person I asked) in glasses who had completely no clue at all as to which isle it could be (and couldn't care less to even offer to help locate) CS, please train your staff on the most basic product inventory/location knowledge. Shameful. That's really the most basic requirement of them, esp the Manager.

One particular staff working at the counter is so rude and impatient. Literally only 2 customers at the counter (since majority of them are using self checkout), but the staff stationed there still feel the need to rush customers and act like she is very busy. Seems genuinely annoyed when customers ask her questions regarding certain items and just seem so reluctant to serve. Then just throw the plastic bag at a corner and expect customer to pack it themselves. In that case why even bother having someone attend the cash counter? Customer is not always right but bad customer service is always wrong.

Venus should be labelled having the WORST Customer service ever. I feel bad for cold storage for hiring her. You guys are losing customers because of her. I would patronize other supermarkets instead.

I recently had two disappointing experiences at Cold Storage Nex. First, I tried to use a valid voucher, but neither the staff nor the manager could process it due to system issues. The manager didn't know how to handle the problem, leaving me unable to use the voucher. On a separate visit, the store was completely unattended, and the self-checkout machines were unavailable. It seemed the manager had taken a break, leaving no staff on duty, which is unacceptable for a 24-hour store. Cold Storage should ensure better management and consistent service.

Even though it’s smaller in size than the FairPrice Extra Supermarket nearby, it’s nearer to the MRT Station; hence more convenient for shoppers (who need to save time) to just grab some daily essentials here before heading home. ** For vegans and vegetarians, plant-based items are available too. Ms Alice from Cold Storage, NEX, is an excellent staff. I notice that she treats all her customers with respect. She welcomes everyone with a beautiful and sincere smile. She is very soft spoken and kind. She reminds all seniors about the senior discounts. The strange thing is that I shop at Cold Storage only on Wednesday because of the Senior discount. Yet, when I go to the self check counters, I sometimes forget and when Ms Alice is on duty, she will remind me. Once I went there and after paying, I realised that I had forgotten to activate the senior discount. I saw Alice and I told her. From that day onwards, she never fails to remind me about the Senior discount. How thoughtful of her! She is very warm and makes me very welcome whenever she sees my friend and I. I would also like to commend Ms Esther Chua. Sometime back, we were at Cold Storage, NEX. We noticed that the smoked duck was on special and we love the smoked duck in Cold Storage. We were served by Ms Esther Chua. She is so jolly and cheerful. She took a duck and we saw a bigger one below that one. So like the typical kiasu Singaporean, we asked her if we could have the bigger one instead. We noted that she had already put the smoked duck in the takeaway bag. However, she was extremely nice and with a big, beautiful smile, she put the duck we chose into another bag and gave it to us. This is important to us as we have encountered service staff who would give us a dirty look before acceding to our requests. Ms Esther Chua was however all smiles.

Great place tuck in the corner of basement 2 of NEX! Huge selection of groceries! They have roast cuts, Chinese roast meats, Japanese sushi, salad bar, nuts dispensers, Japanese products, fine wines, huge variety of dairy products, pet food and more! The cashier at the other corner and it favours self serving kiosks more! The staffs there are friendly and helpful especially when you need help with the self paying kiosk! Though the place isn’t big like the typical Cold Storage you will be surprise by how it can pack so many things there! So many lanes like a fun little maze!

Ms Kim Fah at CS nex was really helpful and patient. She came over while I was paying at the self checkout counter, and helped me through the steps to redeem cash voucher to offset my purchase. Without her, I wouldn't even have known about the voucher on my yuu app. Now I'll definitely check my yuu app more :)

I recently lost a watch of sentimental value at Cold Storage @ Nex. Upon returning the next day, a male cashier helped to check the lost and found cupboard but couldn’t find it. would like to thank him for promptly helping to check the lost and found items. Then, another lady cashier/ sales staff by the name of Alice, came forward and upon telling her of my lost watch, she inquired when and where I had dropped it. She took care to take down my name and mobile number in case the watch was found. Her calmness, patience, concern and willingness to help put me at ease. Later in the afternoon she called me and informed me that she had found a watch. She further inquired some specifics about the watch such as the shape and brand and asked me to come to the supermarket to confirm if it was mine. Upon my arrival, I was delighted to find that it was indeed my watch. She explained that she had discovered it while cleaning and packing the grocery baskets. I am deeply impressed by her hard work, responsibility, and customer-friendly attitude. Her efforts went above and beyond what I expected and I am grateful for her assistance.

It’s raw fish inside coated to make it crispy! After 30mins oven, fish tasted fresh & juicy. Crust is very crispy and flavouring tasted nice! Salmon croquette is very nice with good texture to the bite!
